PROJECTS

Be Yourself and Stay Classy 2018-Lead Artist. Street Art workshop for young people as part of Findhorn Bay Arts Festival 2018.

The Dark 2018-Lead Artist. Photography project in partnership with young people and staff at Branchton Community in Greenock. Exhibited at Rig Arts as part of Galoshans festival 2018.


It’s Ok To Play 2018-Artist and workshop leader. Working with pupils from Larkfield Primary school to design and paint a large scale Street Art work in a play park in the centre of the Larkfield housing estate in Greenock.


Community Artworks 2017-Lead Artist. Community Artworks project. A six month residency in partnership with Cloch and Oak Tree Housing Associations and residents of the Greenock area. The project aimed to enhance the role of the visual arts whilst supporting residents in the most deprived communities to develop and gain new artistic skills.

 

Distant Voices 2017-Artist. Distant Voices was commissioned and exhibited by The Beacon Arts Centre in 2016 as part of The Galoshans Festival. It was created in response to WW1 'Death Notices' discovered as part of a micro residency at Inverclyde Heritage Hub.


Blackboard Jungle 2017-Artist and workshop leader. Photographic project and exhibition with pupils from Linburn Academy Glasgow based on site visits to Botanic Gardens Glasgow. 


Our Values 2017-Artist and workshop leader. Working with and supporting pupils with additional support needs to create a site specific artwork based on the school’s values. 


And Breathe 2016-Artist and workshop leader. Street Art project with Made In The Mill, Paisley to develop and paint a large scale gable end mural in Paisley town centre as part of SMHAF (Scottish Mental health Arts Festival) 2017. This group use visual art as part of the recovery process from mental health issues.


Culture Bus 2016-Artist and Workshop leader. Working with young people from Street Stuff youth project in Paisley to create designs for Culture Bus. A mobile creative space commissioned as part of Paisley’s bid to become City Of culture 2021. 


Bang!! 2015-Artist and Workshop leader. Working with young people from Lomond View School’s Through Care service to create a site specific Street Art work for their Drop In. 


Hidden 2015-Lead Artist. Working with young people considered to be ‘hard to reach’ and in partnership with Police Scotland, Inverclyde Council’s Community Learning and Development department (CLD) and The Beacon Arts Centre to create multiple site specific artworks for the Beacon Arts Centre and Greenock Izones.


The Rain 2013-Artist and Workshop Leader. Working with a group who use art as part of the recovery process from mental health issues to create an artwork for SMHAF 2013 (The Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival).


From Bombin’ to Banksy 2012-Artist and Workshop leader. Working with pupils from Musselburgh Grammar to create a  site specific Street Art work for their school. 

 

Project Ability 2011-Artist in residence and Workshop Leader. Assisting in the tuition of The Connect Programme. A programme that focuses on enabling participants to develop their visual art skills, in particular Drawing and Painting.

 

Linthouse Urban Village 2007-2008-Artist and Workshop Leader. Delivery of weekly creative art workshops for young people based at the Linthouse Urban Village.
